HIGHSIDE

The High Side is more than just a flight park. It's an ambitious community project. Our mission to create a place for healing and recreation. All supported by a community that wants to come together to do some good in the world.

It's set on a 180 acre farm with a 600m section of coastal cliff at Karioitahi beach, New Zealand. Located on Auckland's wild west coast. It's magical place with a dedicated takeoff secured for free-flight activities like Paragliding, Speedflying and Hang Gliding and is supported by SkyWings Paragliding it's main sponsor. It's also one of Auckland's premier paragliding locations and includes ambitious community focused ideas for the future. It's located on a world class 35km length of coastal cliff stretching from the Waikato river mouth in the south to the Manukau Harbour mouth in the north. This makes a 70km return flight a common and breath taking occurrence.
